How many days until Halloween?

Halloween traditions

Halloween falls on 31 October, the eve of All Saints' Day. Its roots go back to the Celtic festival of Samhain, which marked the end of the harvest and the start of winter, and many of the customs we know today — dressing up, carving lanterns and trick-or-treating — developed from older traditions in Ireland, Scotland and later the United States. Pumpkins are now the standard for carving, though turnips were used originally. If you are going trick-or-treating, stick to well-lit streets and houses that have decorations out, and check sweets for allergens before handing them out.
