How to use the Penalty Shootout
Set up the shootout
Enter both team names and choose how many kicks each team takes (5 is the standard). Optionally enter the kicker order for each team — one player name per line — and each kick will show who is taking it. Leave the player lists blank to run a nameless shootout. Manual mode lets you record each kick live. Simulate generates random outcomes.
Record each kick
Kicks alternate between teams. Tap Goal, Miss or Saved for each penalty. The scoreboard updates live and each kick is shown as a coloured dot — green for goals, orange for saves, red for misses. The tool checks after every kick whether one team has already won and declares the result early if so, just like in a real shootout.
Sudden death and full scorecard
After the standard kicks, if the score is level the shootout automatically continues into sudden death — teams take one kick each and the first to miss while the other scores wins. The final result screen shows a full kick-by-kick scorecard you can print or screenshot for the match record.
