Randomly select a match captain from your squad. Keeps a fair rotation log so everyone gets a turn.
How to use the Captain Picker
Add your squad
Enter every player who might captain the team. Once added, each player has an availability toggle — mark anyone unavailable before you pick (injury, absent for the match) and they will be skipped automatically. The squad persists in your browser so you only need to set it up once.
Pick the captain
In rotation mode the player who has captained the fewest times is selected first — ties are broken randomly to keep things fair. If you want to pick someone specific, use the override dropdown to choose manually. Add a fixture description to keep the history readable. Click Pick Captain to confirm and log the selection.
Track the rotation
The squad list shows how many times each player has captained and when they last wore the armband. Players who have never captained show a zero count and are highlighted. The history log at the bottom records every selection in order, so you have a permanent record of who led the team in each match.
