Text Summarizer
Summarize any text by extracting the most important sentences. Choose summary length. Runs in your browser.
How to use the Text Summarizer
How it works
The summarizer uses an extractive approach — it scores each sentence based on how many significant words it shares with the full text, then picks the highest-scoring sentences. This keeps the actual words from the original rather than rephrasing them.
Best results
Works best on informational text — news articles, reports, essays and documentation. For very short texts (under 5 sentences) there isn't much to summarize. The summary preserves sentences in their original order from the text.
