How to use the Text Cleaner

Common use cases
Strip HTML tags is useful when copying text from a web page or CMS. Decode HTML entities converts & back to & and similar. Remove extra spaces cleans up text pasted from PDFs or spreadsheets. Remove non-ASCII removes emoji and special characters for use in systems that only accept plain text.
Copy the result
Click Copy result to copy the cleaned text to your clipboard. The stats at the bottom show how many characters were removed, so you can see exactly what was cleaned. The original text is always preserved in the left panel.
