List Sorter

How to use the List Sorter

1

Paste your list

Paste items one per line by default, or choose a different separator — comma, semicolon, tab, pipe or a custom character. You can also change the output separator so results come out in a different format to the input, for example pasting a comma-separated list and getting it back sorted with one item per line.

2

Choose an action

Click any button to sort alphabetically (A→Z or Z→A), numerically, by length, or to shuffle, reverse, remove duplicates or number your items. The result updates instantly. Shuffle generates a new random order each time you click it. Ignore case makes A→Z sorting treat uppercase and lowercase as equal.

3

Copy the result

Click Copy result to copy to your clipboard. The result count at the bottom tells you how many items are in the output — useful to verify duplicates were removed or to count items in a list quickly.
