How to use the Substitution Planner
Add your squad
Set the match length and subs allowed, then add each player and mark them as a starter or bench player. Starters begin at minute 0. Add as many bench players as you have available — large squads where everyone needs game time are what this tool is designed for. Your squad saves automatically.
Set sub minutes
For starters, set the minute they come off. For bench players, set the minute they come on. The visual timeline updates immediately showing each player's exact block of game time. Players highlighted in red are getting fewer than 40% of the available minutes — useful for making sure the squad is used fairly.
Print for the touchline
Click Print to produce a clean substitution plan. The printed version shows the timeline and the minutes summary so you have a clear reference during the match. The plan saves in your browser so you can prepare it the night before and it will still be there on match day.
