How to use
Days vs working days
The simple difference counts every day, including weekends. For working days only, use the Working Days Calculator. The inclusive option adds one to the total — useful when counting "how many days are we away on holiday" if both arrival and departure day count.
Months and years
Months are calculated by walking the calendar month-by-month — so 1 January to 1 February is exactly 1 month, regardless of whether February has 28 or 29 days. Years work the same way. The "remaining" days are everything left after the months are counted.

Is the end date included in the count?
By default the difference counts the days between the dates. If you need to include both the start and end day, add one day.
How are months and years calculated?
Months and years follow the calendar, so a month can be 28 to 31 days long. The total days figure is always exact.
