How to use the Palette Generator

1

Pick a base color

Click the color square to open a visual picker, or type a hex code directly. The palette generates instantly from your chosen color using the selected color theory rule. Changing the hex code or picker automatically updates all palette colors.

2

Choose a palette type

Complementary pairs your color with its direct opposite on the color wheel for maximum contrast. Analogous uses colors adjacent on the wheel for a harmonious, natural feel. Triadic and tetradic use evenly spaced colors for vibrant, balanced palettes. Monochromatic gives you tints and shades of a single hue.

3

Copy any color

Click any swatch to copy that color's hex code. The "Copy all HEX" button copies all palette colors as a comma-separated list of hex codes. Use the large preview bar at the top to see how the palette works together before copying.
